State of the Township
Every year, the township supervisor gives a presentation to citizens, local business owners, and community stakeholders to showcase the accomplishments, plans, and vision of Canton as a municipality and government. The primary part of that presentation is a half-hour showcase video, which needs a fresh and engaging introduction each year.
For 2026, I created an animated short to highlight the theme for the year, "The Power of Partnerships and Collaboration." I wanted to avoid generic iconography to convey this concept, so I opted to include locally recognizable imagery, such as blueprints for a real future development, the iconic architecture of administrative buildings, and the "broccoli tree" that residents have come to love.

The Gallery at Cherry Hill
As part of the perks granted to visiting artists at Canton's Center for the Performing Arts, a video showcasing them and their work on display is made on a monthly basis.
I shoot, interview, and edit all the content for the Gallery as part of my duties for the Township, and it's one of the tasks I enjoyed so much that I wanted to keep it under my umbrella when I was promoted to Senior Video Producer.

Downtown Diversity
Working with the DDA and Cherry Hill Village District, I run this show through the public access television team to promote locally owned businesses. After working with the Community Development Department on a name, I got to work on the visual style of the introduction and visual style. I came to a concept that uses a chasing line motif to emulate the sprawling roads throughout Canton that take you to these places.
These required tight deadlines not only in the edit, but also on site. The businesses could only close for so long for us to get our content. Shot by me and a team of junior videographers, then cut by myself, we've been able to put together a collection of videos that excite the township, and got other local entrepreneurs to reach out asking when it was their turn.

What started off as volunteer work turned into a returning client in the Panthera Corporation, a non-profit based in New York that works around the world fighting for the conservation of Big Cats.
If you peruse the rest of my site you'll see that I'm quite passionate about these animals, and so it's truly been a dream to work with their communications team to create these.
